Work Experience

Sonia Rykiel

Studio Assistant Internship, Paris - April 2017 to May 2017

I worked closely with the Senior Designer to create research and moodboards for the new collection, defining a direction and a detailed selection of fastenings and finishes. After fabrics were selected, I sewed prototypes and developed samples before creating technical drawings on Adobe Illustrator. Beyond the creation of products, I assisted as a stylist and dresser during fittings with models and offered opinions in order to define the next steps of product development.

Coltesse and Mazarine

Showroom Assistant, Paris - November 2016

During the week, I assisted at the showroom by organising the collections on rails and the displays, styling models and explaining the details of products to the buyers. Alongside management of the stock and working on the bar, I updated the books with product information.

Lanvin

Showroom Assistant, Paris - June 2016

During Paris Fashion Week, I worked with the showroom team to assist buyers as they asked for information about the new collection. Models were used to present the pieces and I was a dresser and stylist, in order to present the products in the best way. I also worked withe the inventory and stock check.

HEX Clothing

Assistant Designer, Stylist, Art Directior, Barcelona - June 2015 to February 2016

Alongside the Head of Design, I worked closely with the Menswear products, from the beginning until the end of production. After developing research, moodboards and direction, I gave my opinion that evolved the individual pieces, with finishings, fabrics and style. For campaigns, my point of view was accepted for the selection of models, locations and looks and during the shoot, I assisted with styling and a secondary camera for video and behind-the-scenes, which was later used as part of a 'brand-expansion' social-media mission.
